What document formats can we bring into a packet?
Current intake supports PDF and image documents. Teams can group Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, freight invoices, customs paperwork, and supporting files into a single packet for review.
How is our document data handled?
Shipvanta keeps document work inside the workspace workflow, where your team controls review and approval. Review the security and data posture with us for requirements specific to your rollout.
Who can access a workspace?
Shipvanta supports workspace owners, admins, and members. Your implementation plan should define the right access roles for each operating team.
Does Shipvanta keep an audit trail?
Packet activity records document workflow events such as validation runs and exception resolution notes. Confirm your required audit scope during implementation.
Is API access available?
The product includes scoped API credential management for packet records. It does not provide document-file downloads, OCR, customs validation, push-sync, or a live third-party system connection through the API.
Are webhooks available?
The workspace includes signed webhook configuration and delivery records for supported product events. Your team owns the receiver, mapping, and go-live validation.
Do you integrate with our TMS, WMS, or trade platform?
Shipvanta provides an integration-planning surface for field mapping, ownership, security, and acceptance criteria. A specific external system connection is implementation work, not a default live capability.
Is human review required?
Yes. Shipvanta is designed for operator-led review. It does not submit customs filings, make regulatory decisions, or automatically approve a shipment packet.
What can we do in the 3-day trial?
Use a focused workspace setup to organize sample shipment documents into packets, review document records, run configured deterministic checks, and evaluate the operator approval flow with your team.
